Accelerating Indigenous Technologies
Bringing together global StartUps and village enterprises, giving access to each other’s services and markets.
MoreStartup Gurukool aims to address the urban – rural economic divide through the tools of entrepreneurship and skill development in a fellowship - based model. Young impacters in the age group of 19 - 26 years from cities and towns undergo a 6 month long guided fellowship in a village where they play a pivotal role by engaging city and village stakeholders to cross - pollinate ideas for better economic prosperity in underserved regions using technology-enabled interventions and people-centric solutions. The program provides village entrepreneurs and enterprises access to global markets by co-creating micro-entrepreneurship business models while improving livelihoods, enhancing incomes, and generating jobs in rural India.
The StartUp Gurukool program aims to accelerate indigenous technologies to rural markets and enable social entrepreneurs aligned to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through market access as a service, creation of jobs for people living in the villages and creating self-sustainable enterprises.
